Male, 3 years, pit bull X, 75 lbs
When you approach the cage he retreats to the rear and has to be coaxed out. He is very stiff with his tail tucked. Very nervous. When you try to pet him he tries to move out of reach and looks at you with whale eye. Showed no interest with toys or treats. When introduced to another dog he showed no interest and wanted to get away. Dog is still very nervous and does not solicit attention. Able to leash and bring into testing room but does not engage with testers.
This dog has just arrived in care and is currently unavailable for adoption. It will go into foster care for 1 week so we can get to know their personalities better. After the first week, we will post their adoption biographies and review adoption applications or announce that the foster provider has adopted them. At that time, if you would like to be considered in the event they are accepting applications, please fill out an adoption application.
Arrived from California February 23.
