Female, 1 year, pit bull X, 44 lbs

Meet one of the cutest pups around, Phoebe! This sweet little lady loves everyone she meets. She is the best traveler and loves to hop in the car to go for a car ride. Phoebe wants to be a part of anything and everything her people are doing. She is housetrained, but does have the occasional accident, so she will benefit from continued positive reinforcement for pottying outside - accidents are becoming few and far between. Phoebe has a lot of energy! She is very athletic and would be a perfect running companion. She is incredibly smart and enjoys working on her training, playing games, working on treat puzzles, playing tug and fetch. She is very keen on pleasing her humans, which has made training very enjoyable. Phoebe will require dedication to daily mental and physical exercise jn order for her to thrive and be the most incredible dog. We have not tested her with cats or smaller household pets. She does have the potential to have a strong prey drive, so remaining leashed when outdoors will be incredibly important to set her up for success. She does live with a canine foster sister who is a lot larger than her and Phoebe needs reminders to not be too "in your face" during interactions with her. Phoebe works very hard to control her puppy-urges, such as jumping up, nibbling/mouthing, and licking, so we do not recommend a household with small children. Phoebe is a snuggly, loving, smart, and happy-go-lucky little pup who is going to make for the most amazing companion and best friend.
