Description
Male, 11 months, pit bull X, 50 lbs
Stanley has got to be the most handsome boy out there. He has come a long way from his previous life and is enjoying the new comforts of living in a home with humans. This boy is going to need a special home that understands his needs and is willing to put in the work to show him that the world is not that scary. Coming from California, Stanley had little experience with the outside world and as such will need a family with another confident dog to show him how to ‘dog’, and a big backyard as he still gets overwhelmed by large spaces but has energy to burn. At this point, a home with no kids would be best as they tend to move a little too fast and can be too unpredictable for his liking. He is loving life in a home with people, however he now doesn’t like when his people leave, resulting in some separation anxiety. Therefore, no attached housing is a must for right now, and a human who is home more often than not is important to him.
Though still very much a puppy, once he comes out of his shell and learns to trust, this beautiful boy is the most affectionate, happy, loving dog a person can ask for. He will love his forever family unconditionally. Stanley is crate trained, 99% house trained and is progressing well with leash walking. He gets along very well with our similar sized female dog, but cats are unknown.
Stanley is awaiting his neuter and is approximately 50lbs and growing.
Stanley is being fostered in Calgary.
