Female, 1 year, pit bull X, 40 lbs

Franny is a lover not a fighter. She is submissive to most other people and dogs. All she wants is to love and be loved. She likes to put her head in your lap to be petted. She loves to roll on her back for tummy rubs. Her fur is short but soft and not greasy so lovely to touch and has very little shedding. A quick brush once a week is all she needs. She is happy with a 20-minute walk once or twice a day plus some playtime in the backyard. She gets along well with kids and other dogs except intact males who seem to find her very alluring even though she has been fixed. She gets tired of their extreme interest in her! She is learning how to play with toys and is gentle with the children (foster home has a 3 and 5 yr old). A bit of a chow hound, she is definitely motivated by food treats and would learn to do tricks if someone made the effort. She is NOT yappy, only barks if someone comes to the door. An ideal companion for anyone who wants a dog to cuddle and pet and love!
