Male, 5 to 7 years, Pyrenees X, 70 lbs

Hi! I’m Blue. My foster mom calls me Blue Bear because I’m so soft and if you’re lucky enough to get cuddles from me it’s like snuggling a big ol’ bear!

I’m a pretty sweet guy under this gruff exterior. I’ve got some stuff I’m working on but with the right family I‘ll be perfect. I’m pretty chatty when it comes to dinner and play time too. I love my foster kids. Sometimes I get a little worried about them if they are roughhousing too much so I’ve got to investigate and make sure it’s all okay. But I like when they give me scratches and cuddle with me and I always (well almost always) listen to them.

Mom says that even though I’m a big guy with a big voice I’m not very confident. I don’t really know how to act in public and get really ramped up about other dogs and people. I’m working hard on my manners and staying focused, but I need someone to help guide me through that with patience and calm. Leashes are hard work but I’m getting better. I need someone that will keep working on that with me too.

Small dogs and animals aren’t going to be a good match for me. If I have a new fur sibling, they should be as big as me or bigger and really calm to keep me balanced. My big dog foster sibling has been a very good influence on me.

If I get scared or surprised, I might bark at you but if we go slow, we’ll be best friends! I love a good couch too and my crate is getting better.

If you’re laid back and patient, and willing to do the work, I’ll do the work too! I promise I’m the best pupper!
