Hello, my name is Nema and I am a sweet little lady who is loving Canada and rolling in the snow.

After my original owner passed away in Texas, I was rehomed into a house where I was abused and starved. Despite all of this I still am very loving.

I am currently living with my foster brother, a husky mix, and I am not too sure about him. We sometimes play well – however, I don’t like sharing toys with him, or him getting attention from my foster mom – I want her to myself. I have been snappy at him at times. I really like chewing on toys and going for long walks. My brother and I currently get a minimum of two and a half hours of walks a day. I also got to go hiking in the Rockies and loved it. The more comfortable I get the more of my puppy side comes out – I have even had the zoomies a couple times. However, my favorite thing is cuddling with my foster mom.

I don’t bark, I am crate trained, bathroom trained and have been great in a condo. I can also sit, however, sometimes I am stubborn, and I know to come and understand the word no (my foster brother doesn’t listen to no – so my foster mom is very proud). I also love car rides and behave really well.

I must always be near my foster mom when I am not in my crate – I would even prefer to have a paw on her. When people come into the house, I get snarly with them, and when new dogs come into the house, I can be snappy as well. However, when I am outside and on leash, I have had no problems. I can also be snappy when I am in new areas. I would benefit from some resource guarding training.

I am very loving and sweet and will bring you so much joy and happiness.
