Female, 5 years, pit bull X, 70 lbs
Siara was very timid and scared when she arrived in her foster home but is slowly coming around. She has taken quite a bit of time to get used to living in a house and she does spook with loud noises. She has not been around cats yet, but her foster thinks she would be best in a home without them, as she does have a prey drive towards other small animals. She is good with other dogs and has not been around small children yet. She is a quiet dog and rarely ever barks. She is still working on her housetraining, but having been in rescue her whole life, this may take some more time. She is scared of being in the car and also not used to being on a leash. She hasn’t had interest in toys yet. Overall, this quiet girl is still getting used to her new circumstances and it may take some more time for her to realize that she is safe and cared for. She is looking for a new home who will take their time with her and allow her to come out of her shell in her own time.
Siara is being fostered in Red Deer.
