Male, 5 years, pit bull X, 70 lbs

Sparks is a sweet, gentle giant. He is still learning how to live in a house with his humans and he can still be quite timid, especially around men. Sparks will require a loving home who can have patience with him as he adjusts to all the new stuff around him. He is still working on his housetraining, but this is coming along nicely. He does have some anxiety in his kennel. He loves to sit and stare out the windows and watch the world go by. Sparks would do best in a home with another older dog, as the energy of a younger dog may be too much for him. He hasn’t been around children, but we feel that older children would be best for him. He has not been around cats yet , so we’re unsure how he would do with them. He has no food aggression. He loves car rides and is excellent in the car; he doesn’t bark or whine, he just lays down. He has just started to cuddle with his foster mom, so it will take a bit of time for him to warm up to his new family, but it will be worth it!
