Female, 4 years, chihuahua X, 13 lbs

Stacey has started to come out of her shell and is such a sweetheart. She doesn’t mind the car but gets in on her terms unless you put her in kennel first. She is still a very timid girl so she will need a home that can have patience with her while she adjusts to her new life.

Stacey’s met a few dogs in the last 2 weeks and still plays shy when she meets them. She’s great with the leash and will follow you around the house. Picking her up is an absolute NO and the only way you can touch her is when she has the leash on. We are working on it every day. Stacey has a lot of fear and is still learning to trust. For this reason, Stacey needs a home without any children (of any age).

Stacey needs another dogs her own size in her future home who can help with her confidence and show her that life doesn’t have to be so scary. We recommend a single family home for her.

Stacey is being fostered in Calgary.
