Female, 9 months, chihuahua X, 12 lbs

Hi, I’m McLaren! but my foster family calls me Mickey. Could be the ears, I dunno!

I’m a sweet, affectionate, curious and smart girl just looking for her forever home. My foster fam says I’m very smart. In the last week alone I’ve learned how to sit and lie down. They say I’m very food motivated and will be a breeze to train. I’m working on my table manners and learning to slow down when I eat. I have had the odd accident inside but I’m working really hard on house training. I’ve just started sitting by the door to let everyone know I have to go to the bathroom. Because I’m a puppy, I like to chew but as long as I have toys and bones to keep myself occupied I can keep myself happy.

I live with two toddlers and we get along really great. I love kids! I don’t nip or bite and I just love to cuddle with them and give all of the kisses. I get along with the resident dog too. We are best buds and play all day long. We hang out in our large pen together when my foster fam steps out and we keep each other company. I would enjoy another dog bro or sis but it’s not a requirement. I haven’t been tested with cats but I’m sure I’d love them.

Did I mention my favourite thing in the world is to cuddle? If you are sitting down I will find you and cozy right up. When I’m relaxed I groan really loud just to let the whole room now how comfortable I am.

I’m still learning about this big world and everything is new to me! When I hear the neighbour dogs barking I like to chime in to the neighbourhood symphony. I also like to alert my fam when people come to the door, when another dog walks by - or even when I see my reflection in the mirror!
