Bonnie

Adopted

Description

Female, 6 years, schnauzer X, 11 lbs

Bonnie is a very sweet girl. Bonnie loves being babied and would fit best in a home with an elderly lady or with someone that is home 99% of the time.

She loves to cuddle and get kisses. She loves to sit on your lap and always be with you. She only eats chicken and rice. We are slowly working on dog pellets, but she really is not a fan. She does beg at the dinner table and she might have gotten the scraps as she gets very excited when the dishes leave the table for the kitchen.

She likes to sleep in the bed being held by someone or when she is hot she will sleep by your feet.
The reason why I say she will be better with an older person is because we have visited my husband’s grandmother and she went nuts seeing her; Bonnie really enjoyed her time with her.

I don’t know how she is with cats. She is very scared of big dogs. She is okay with children; she does not love them but will tolerate them. (She would be fine with an older person’s grandchildren or somebody that comes around from time to time to visit). She has not made a sound of barking and there have been no signs of aggression of any kind. She does get shy and likes to hide away in the arms of the one she picks. She is very scared of lightning. (I figured out by putting the night light on that she slept much better, it might have something to do with her eye).

She potties outside and asks to be let out. She likes taking drives. We have not been too far on the leash as she is still on pain medication for her eye (her surgery is tomorrow) but the times she has been on a leash she really does enjoy.

Don’t let her one eye fool you as she is still able to move around at night. Half the time you won’t even notice she has one eye as her cute face lights up every time you look at her. ️

Bonnie is being fostered in Edmonton.
