Male, 1 year, Lab X, 39 lbs

Gunner is a sweet boy who loves his cuddles and sleeping in! He adores his people and wants to constantly be within close proximity. He is house and kennel trained! Although he does bark when first leaving him, he quickly calms down with a treat to distract him. Gunner is fairly food motivated which is great for all the training he requires. We're working on basic commands like sit and lay down. He occasionally gets over excited and has bursts of energy where he rips around the house or jumps up on people. For this reason I wouldn't recommend a home with small children. He is very curious with the cats in his foster home, especially the litter of kittens. He wants to play with them but doesn't quite know how. He ends up chasing them but has never hurt them. He is low to medium energy, requiring 1-2 hour long walks and lounging around the rest of the day. He is a bit of a puller and needs a harness.

Overall, Gunner is an amazing dog that just needs some consistent training.
