Male, 3 years, Maltese X, 21 lbs

Spruce is one amazing dog! He truly is a good boy!

He eats very well. He does enjoy being in his crate but will sleep by you in the bed by your feet. He knows to ask to go potty outside. We have had one or two wee spots but as some boy dogs do, he does mark his spot. He really loves going on walks and he likes car rides. He loves playing ball. He really, really loves children, especially smaller children. He can be over protective of them, plays with them, and sleeps by them.

I feel he will be at his best with a family that has one or two smaller children as children are definitely his thing. He loves children and really does not mind all the kisses and rubs or snacks for that matter, that children have to offer. He really is one of the most amazing dogs I have ever taken care of and anyone that adopts this boy will truly be privileged.
