Hi pawsible furever families! My name is Kazi, and I would love to meet youuu!

My foster mum calls me a velcro dog because whenever she’s home, I never want to leave her side…wherever she is, I’m right there with her. When I go in my kennel, I get a little sad that I cannot be with my human. I will cry a little at first, but I have improved so much over the past week, I usually stop within a few minutes. It helps when I get a special treat for going in my kennel, and you stay within my sight for a few minutes. Once I settle, I’m 100% fine, and I will be quiet when you sleep or go to work. I’m even starting to go into my kennel to hang with my toys on occasion. If you continue to work diligently with me, I’m pawsitve I’ll have this whole kennel thing mastered in no time.

I am always so happy and excited; I have endless energy and so much love to give! They say that blondes have more fun, and I agree! I adore playing fetch and tug-o’-war, though sometimes I can get a bit carried away mouth and jump. Because of this, I think if my furever home has children, that bigger would be better. I also love to chew but worry not! I am very satisfied by my chew toys. I haven’t eaten a single shoe.

My foster mum is helping me learn to contain my excitement. We take lots of breaks when we play, I must lay down before I can come out of my kennel, and I have to sit and be calm before I can say hello to people and dogs. I am getting so much better! I still have a hard time when I see other doggos on my walks though, I just wanna say hi to them soooo bad. Not even food can tempt me to refocus my attention. My leash manners are improving every day though, a patient and consistent furever family will do me good. I wouldn’t mind a home with another dog I can play with, but I’ll also be happy as an only doggo.

When I’m not bouncing around, I love to snuggle. I also enjoy a good scratch behind the ears or a relaxing belly rub. Will you chew chew choose me?
