Dominique has come such a long way in the short time that we’ve had her. I don’t think she has ever really been around people, and she is quite shy and reserved. However, she started not even wanting to come out of her kennel to now licking and laying with us a bit as well as running and playing around like the 8 month old puppy she is. I believe she would do the best in a home with other dogs, as she wouldn’t be as trusting if it wasn't for my dogs in the home. She is not fully housetrained and would need work on the leash but as I said if she has another dog with her, I don’t see it being as difficult. I do not recommend her with small children due to her getting too excited and nipping however she is good with cats as I have two. Overall, Dominique is a kind loving puppy with lots of energy and just needs time and patience as she just needs some time to trust in you. She would make a great addition to someone's home.
