Luna is super sweet, loving, and incredibly cute! This girl is fully house trained and kennel trained. She does really good in the car and usually falls asleep. She does good on her walks, although they have been limited with the weather, she allows you to dress her with no effort. The key thing is to make sure you establish your leadership so she doesn't try to walk ahead. She is slightly reactive/timid seeing people and other dogs, but she listens really well with little correction and continues on. Regular structured walks with help gain some extra confidence outdoors. From her past information they said she has a high prey drive but I have not seen it for myself, so I have never had the chance to help correct this behaviour. She is not good with cats or small animals and most likely small children.
She is amazing with my pack of two larger dogs, one female and one male. I have yet to see her interact with smaller dogs but I believe with the right introduction she can to well with all breeds and sizes.
I haven't seen and food or toy aggression. I feed all three dogs at the same time and make sure they are all sitting on the bed and wait to be released to eat.
She does bark a bit when she hears or smells something outside but listens quickly when you tell her to stop.
She seems to have fear/ insecurities when meeting males. She has barked and growled on a few different occasions at my house and the pet store. She did come around and allow them to pet her but it was once she got comfortable.
She is lower energy and low-key spending a lot of the time napping but can also get right into a good play session. Once you have gained her trust, she allows you to do anything with her. Baths, nail trims, clean ears, brushing teeth, and all the cuddles you can imagine. She loves affection!!
She does like to test some boundaries like jumping up on you. As cute as it looks, we correct her and she listens. She also tries to get up on the couch and bed which again we correct and she moves on.
Overall she is a great dog who would do well in a home alone or with other dogs. Seeing how she is with mine I'd say she is more of a pack dog but she does adjust well and could fit in regardless.
