Piper is a long haired Chihuahua mix with the cutest underbite and a curly tail. She is full of energy and loves affection. In general she is very easy going and trusting.

Piper is still a puppy. She is still learning all the puppy things like not wrapping around a post while walking on a leash, how to take a treat gently, general commands like sit, and what noises deserve barking. She loves to chew on rope toys, bones and chew treats. She also loves playing tug and fetch even though she does not understand the rules properly.

When leaving her alone (in her crate, with a chew toy) she sometimes barks or whines (pipes) for a short while, then settles down.

On walks she is good with most dogs. In Texas she was in a foster home with dogs of all sizes and cats. They observed jealousy and food aggression toward small dogs (we did not).

Our grandchildren (6 & 9) loved her and she loved them. She has no gender preference.

Potty training is in progress.
