Leah has been through a lot since being rescued in January 2021 (in fact, she has the scars to prove it). Like many other pit bulls, Leah has skin allergies and will probably require a specific diet or possibly medication. Her owners may choose to schedule a surgery to remove an extra nipple as this was recommended by her vet. Otherwise, she is a healthy, beautiful girl!

Leah has been around other dogs but gets along best with submissive dogs. She takes issue with dogs that try to dominate or nip at her. She has not been tested with cats.

She is currently working on some boundary issues (AKA mounting humans and other dogs) but picks up well on social queues and being told "no". She is also house-trained and knows a few basic commands. She will require some training for being outside as there are lots of distractions!

Leah absolutely loves her car rides! She will happily jump into any vehicle, prepared to go on an adventure! Her favorite adventures are to the park or beach to go swimming. At home, Leah is very calm and loves to snuggle and sleep on you. She is just a peaceful, happy pittie that lives to cuddle you.
