Sampson is the sweetest boy, definitely a gentle giant that just wants to love. Throughout the time of having Sampson I have seen such amazing potential in him. He loves to relax, cuddle and play with his foster brother Memphis. When it's downtime he does go and relax on his bed. In the kennel he does bark, more like a whine cry and not his full bark for about 15-20 mins then settles in nicely and sleeps the whole day.

We do not have any kids so I am still not sure how he is around small children, but will be testing that within the next day or so… he does like to lean on you while he is being pet so with small children might knock them over.

Sampson is very good in the car, sometimes does get a little anxious but overall tries to lay down and relax if possible. He is very large so he prefers a bigger vehicle.

When Sampson is outside he is anxious overall on the leash… When you pull, he pulls. He does need to be in a home that can handle his size, strength and someone who is able to show him leadership, boundaries, and overall structure. Sampson is VERY smart and is eager to learn but needs that person to put in the time and effort and remember that he is still a puppy.
