Male, 4 years, Great Pyrenees, 82 lbs
Handsome Mr. Grover has come so far from finally deciding to get off that bus! He continues to remind us that he will do things when he is good and ready. With every day we gain more trust from him and he returns with loyalty and obedience. He is a gentle giant who has shown zero aggression. He is great with other dogs, small kids, big kids and adults! He is easy going and slow moving :) He seems to have some weakness in his back legs (shake from time to time) so we've been working to get him outside and walking every 3 - 4 hours to build them back up. He's only had a handful of accidents inside and with each day that passes he is doing a better job letting us know when it's time to go outside. Grover was not a fan of the car but we have continued to work with him at overcoming his fears/dislikes and he is improving at a rapid pace! He is a great eater and has been given plenty of food to help build up some meat on his bones. Grover would be an amazing family dog but would be most happy on an acreage/large property where he can roam freely. He is very loyal and happy to walk by your side with or without a leash.
Grover is being fostered in Calgary.
