Female, 6 years, American bulldog X

Layla is a pretty laid back dog overall and she enjoys her walks and laying on couch. She is great in the car and is very friendly to people, however she is not fond of other dogs. She rarely barks and doesn’t ask to go outside, so she will need to be taken out frequently so she doesn’t have an accident in the house. She knows her basic commands and is easily redirected. She would do well with someone willing to put some time in to training to become friendly with other dogs. Her foster has worked a little with her but she needs more experiences. She is easily excitable such as getting her leash out for a walk. We feel that Layla would do best with a family with older children and no other pets. Due to her easily excited behaviour, young children may not be her best placement.
