Male, 3 years, pit bull X, 71 lbs

Conrad is an awesome dog. He loves to snuggle, sometimes thinks he's a lap dog when you let him up on the couch or bed. He hasn't met a person he doesn't love. He is always very happy to meet anyone. Amazing and gentle with kids. He can't seem to help himself from licking any face he can reach. He isn’t much of a jumper, only when he's very excited.

He is great with other dogs and plays very well. We are unsure about cats. He does seem to become fixated in a playful way on squirrels, rabbits and birds occasionally so cats may be something he needs to get used to.

He loves to eat but has no food aggression whatsoever.

He is mostly very obedient. Has no problems spending time in his crate and actually seems to enjoy it, chewing a bone or chew toy.

We have only heard him bark a handful of times, mostly during play time. Not loud at all.

He has had a couple accidents in the house but is very good at going to the bathroom outside.

He is great in the car. Loves going for car rides but within minutes is very relaxed and usually falls asleep.

Conrad is good on leash. He can pull at the start for a minute when he's overly excited but calms down quick. We have been working on heeling.

The only thing we have observed needing work is his recall. In the house, or the yard, you can call him and he will come instantly. The dog park is a different issue. I think he lets his excitement and playtime get the better of him and it can be tough to get him to come back, even with treats. But with that said he has gotten way better even in the short time I have been fostering him.
