Maggie is a very sweet, loving and devoted girl! She follows me everywhere I go and loves to cuddle. She doesn't bark unless she sees deer or hears an unfamiliar voice, and she is usually excellent on a leash (sometimes she pulls a little when there's a lot going on).

Maggie is super friendly and just wants to meet all people! We are working on her manners because she likes to jump up on people because she’s just so excited to meet them; she doesn't tend to do it much or at all after she's met you and is comfortable with you. Maggie has a very calm and relaxed demeanour. She loves getting out for walks and hikes.

Maggie is a smart girl who picks up on things pretty quickly; in a short amount of time she went from not knowing what the word sit was, to automatically sitting when she sees her food dish and on command. Her recall is getting better by the day as well.

Maggie has never had an accident in the house and goes to the door when she wants out. My favourite thing about Maggie is how when you scratch her under her chin she puts all her weight on your hand like she’s trusting you to take away all her hurt that she’d ever gone through. She’s also great at giving hugs when she sits by you and lovingly rests her head on your chest.

Maggie is a wonderful dog who just wants to be loved and part of a loving and caring family.
